  • Heck no. I would do everything I can to support her and her unborn child but I wouldn't pressure her into anything other than finishing high school.

  • No because it probably won't last and what good will that do?

  • I would not push her to do anything. However, I would make sure that I supported any decision that she made. Even if it was getting married.

  • Never. Ever. My mother did this with my sister when she was 16, it was the biggest mistake. She was abused, cheated on, and divorced by 21. I would never push my daughter or son, to do something they were not ready to do. Even if they wanted to get married, they would have to wait until they didn't need my permission!

  • My DH and his ex were 18 when they got pregnant and both sets of parents pressured them to get married. My SS was not even one by the time they split and were getting divorced. I do not believe getting married bc you are pregant is a good idea. Why not wait and get married at a later time if that is what they truely want.

  • I wouldn't pressure but I would be ok with it. My mother was married right after she had me at 16. My parents are still together with no unusual issues 26 years later.
