Does an Anon answer lose points if thumbed down?

just curious how that worked since Anons don't get credit for posting Anon, but the thumbs are still there for people to use.

  • It's fair but then again it's not. There should be a moratorium on anon answers or questions even being counted. For instance, I had an anon answer voted down a few days ago and I asked it in 2008. It was a perfectly harmless answer. I think any question that was asked or answered prior to this points system should not count.

  • the use of anonymity is kinda certain government have to earn the right to use it, but if you abuse (ie: someone thinks you've been negative, and wants to reward you with a thumbs-down)it, you lose. its stupid. either do away with the anon, or do away with the vote-downs.

  • I guess thats sorta fair so that people can't be a-holes and not get punished for it.
