Vote up, Vote down, what does this really prove?

It all seems so immature. Now I know what the concept was supposed to be. On Yahoo Answers it's handled so much differently, not used because someone doesn't AGREE with your answer. It's used if someone honestly gives a bad answer. Agreeing or disagreeing does not make a bad answer, just a difference of opinion. So why is it used this way here? It's like high school. Tolerance people, TOLERANCE.

  • only proves someone can be a jerk and you can't do anything about it. Your right its the virtual equivalent of spitting raspberries at each other. Kid stuff. Doesn't affect me in my real life, so who cares. lol

However its nice when they agree with you, too.

  • We can vote up or down for the same reason why we can answer anonymously, because "we can"! By the way, why ask this question anonymously?? You didn't get any points!!! LOL!
