Can you work out while pregnant?

Im not pregnant. But I have heard that if you were already working out that it was ok to continue. I know someone who is almost 5 months pg and she works out alot. I mean she runs miles, does hours of cardio and does alot of weight training. Is that safe for the baby? Just curious on everyone elses input

  • As long as her body was used to it before, and she's not getting light headed, then she's fine. I went to the gym, rode my bike, and went walking throughout my pregnancy.

  • It sounds a little over the top, there is nothing wrong with working out you just don't want to overdo it.
