  • Do you actually want to stop or do you want to continue if you find the solution to whether or not she is getting enough?

  • Are you looking to switch ONLY because you are concerned about how much she's getting? WHY do you think she's not getting enough? If you want to continue nursing, we can help you with that too. But if you are certain you would like to wean, the second best way (first best being child led) is to replace one nursing session per week with formula...and at 9 months old, you can use either a bottle or a sippy, whatever works best for you guys.

  • i would like to replace my milk to formula. she can hold the bottle and the sippy cup and also putting it in her mouth but doesn't want to drink from it. when she sips it she spits everything. and then cries to sometimes

  • Have you tried pumping and giving her breastmilk in the sippy? That might help her get used to it.

  • She knows what she likes, so it might take a while. You will have to be persistent if you are going to make the switch from breast to bottle or cup.

  • It may not be the bottle or cup she's rejecting but rather the formula. It may also be that she's quite happy to take it when YOU are not there.
