  • Well that is just silly! I have been through pregnancy three times and didn't know until the second time. This is your first pregnancy, so how would you know?

    No worries Momma!

  • YES! I did know that. Each time I get pregnant my eye site goes to crap. As soon as I stop breastfeeding it gos back to normal. I talked to my eye doc and she said that any hormonal changes can effect eye site and some women even have vision changes during their monthly cycle.
Our bodies do weird things sometimes :D

  • I did. WhenI was pregnant with my DD I couldn't see far away. I went to the eye doc and he told me it was likely because my body was retaining fluid, and therefore TAKING fluid from a part of my eye (I don't remember exactly where), but that it can effect how well I see.

Unfortunately for me, I still had eyesight issues after having my DD, so I got glasses, but thats life. LOL

  • Yep. I had to get a new prescription every time I had a baby (I've had glasses since I was 9).
