  • Eat and drink as you like. Only remove things from your diet IF you notice a reaction. Obviously, alcohol should be drank in moderation, and you should not nurse if you are drunk, but nothing is really off limits with nursing like there are things off limits during pregnancy.

  • The ONLY things you absolutely cannot eat, drink or do while breastfeeding are the things you could not eat, drink or do before you were pregnant.

So. No eating yellow snow. No drinking rubbing alcohol. And no doing anything stupid on a moving vehicle. **grin**

Otherwise? Open field. The ONLY time you have restrictions is when BABY reacts. And MANY babies never react to ANYTHING.

You may even drink IN MODERATION. One drink = fine. Stinking drunk = NEVER fine. Even without breastfeeding.
