What are your financial goals for 2011?

In late 2009, I was drowning under credit cards, student loans, a car payment and monthly bills. I made some HUGE goals (pay off all my cards, pay off my car, put money into savings, slash my studen loans) and while I didn't acheive them all, I'm doing better.

This year, I plan to:

1) Keep my credit cards at 30% of their balance or less (in 2009, I had SEVEN cards, all maxed! Now I have 3 and only one has a balance.)
2) Put a minimum of 5% of my income in savings and keep it there! (No more raiding for non-emergencies!)
3) Reduce my student loan balance by 20% or more.

  • ok well I have some debt too and since I got in car accident it def. put me behind... I would like to pay some of it off as soon as tax time comes around and get back on my feet.. I would like to start saving also for a house but that might be a couple years though.
