  • I broke water Dec. 19th at 6 AM. I intended to do VBAC. After 24 hours they started giving me something to increase contractions into my IV and something for the pain via injection into my spine (sorry - almost 2 yrs ago - I've lost some details - but all standard stuff.) By Dec 21st the doctors were telling me that enough is enough - time for a C-section. I felt like a total failure for not being able to deliver normally - but instead concentrated on just having a healthy, happy baby. Bruno was 10 1/2 pounds, healthy and gorgeous. He'll be 2 Dec. 21 this year (2010). And we're hoping to have another baby.... Wish me luck.
