  • it has to be that way
love with heart only is love at first sight or lust...it wears off in time
love that lasts is love from the mind

ever hear listen to your heart, or listen to your head= IMO...USE BOTH!

  • Me personally.

Yes, I believe that. In fact, I believe love does start with the mind. I love aspects of people, I love my interactiond with someone, I love how someone treats me, I love someone's "being"..etc.. All of those things, start in the mind, not the heart.

What I feel, stems from what I think.

Therefore, what I love/don't love etc is based on what I think about those things..

  • Of course. For love to really last, it has to be more than just an emotional attraction. You have to be compatible on different, deeper levels too. If it's just the heart, I'd really consider it infatuation more than true love.

  • I think true love is mind, body, and soul.

  • Yes, I don't think you love with only your heart at all. I think you love with all of you, all of your senses actually. I just can't really explain how or why I feel that way.

  • Yes. You can love someone intellectually just as much as romantically. Intellectual love doesn't even have to be romantic, and it has nothing to do with your heart.

  • Well, yes...we are loving with our brain. Our brain is what collects all the sights and sounds that we get from our loved one and NOT our heart. LOL. Our heart pumps blood. It doesn't think.
