Are all the other religions wrong?

Christians think ( i assume) that their god is the only god and that their religion is the only true religion. So does that mean all the other are wrong?

  • Yep, pretty much. Which is why I have never been and never will be a christian.

  • Yes, that what it means to believe in something. Just like most Democrats think that their party is the only right party and all the others are wrong, same thing with Republicans. ALL religions think that their god is the only god and all others are wrong.

  • I honestly believe so.

  • No religion is wrong. PERIOD. How can anyone that is suppose to be religious feel or believe that? All religions believe in one true God and just because their God is not called or looked upon in the same light does not mean they are wrong. The Christian bible say that God created man in his own image. Explain to me how a African American, Asian, Native American and others see their God as anything other than the face they look at every day in a mirror? They are not blond hair with blue eyes so how can they see their God in that light? Many different faiths and religions follow the same exact bible but interpret differently...So how can that be wrong?

  • The problem is people focus too much on religion which serves no real purpose other than to divide.

Faith on the other hand is personal and individual. Each person has their own personal version of God/Goddess. Whether they are Christian, Wiccan, Islamic, Jewish, whatever ... it is right for them and no one should be told that their belief in God is wrong and that is what some just can't seem to comprehend.

  • Not necessarily. You asked, so here's an honest answer. I believe that other churches only have part of the truth.

  • No religion is "wrong" - However, in converse, no religion is "right" either... All religions are as fallible as the men that created them.
