Mozzarella in resturants...

Most restaurants do not use fresh mozzarella do they, like Panino's not sure if that's nation wide but it's a little fast food pizza place they wouldn't use fresh mozzarella... most likely it would be pasteurized? So safe to eat when pregnant?

  • As long as you don't have HUGE amounts of unpasteurized foods you should be fine, I mean eating there even once every couple of weeks would be fine. But to answer your question, you would actually be hard pressed to find a restaurant that DID use fresh mozzarella, instead of pasteurized.
