  • I always wonder if older generations have always thought this way about younger generations. Up until last year, I was a high school teacher and I was always wondering, like what you said, if kids are getting lazier. Maybe kids always come off to adults as lazy. I also taught some really motivated, hard-working kids though, so it's hard to say. I do think the Internet is making kids lazy when it comes to researching and writing though. They have the info right there, so they are flabergasted when they are told they need to look info up in, god forbid, books. Plus, they are getting way too good at "cutting and pasting." Unfortunately, I think cheating is a lot easier now. That's why schools use websites like as a way to check for plagarsim. So, in a way, yes, I think some kids are more lazy now due to technology. :(

  • i would imagine so with everything being done automatically fro them. No reason to raise a finger soon.
Even driving will be done automatically by just programming in a destination.

  • If it's judgemental to blame the parents. Who is responsible?

  • what do the parents have to do with the planet progressing technologically?

Thats not anyone's fault and holding your kids back from progress is only going to hurt them in their adult life when they don't know how things work and how to get things done in the society of their day.
