I need help ( dog pee)

okay, I am a celn and neat freak, and my dogs have peed in my bedroom at night, and I cant get rid of the odor, I have a 300 dollars bissell steam cleaner, and I use the best pet odor remover in it, and the smell is STIL there, PLEASE tell me how I can get rid of the odor, b/c riht now I have the cleanest ooking acrpet in the world, but the nastiest smelling.....LOL

  • Well... I have two dogs. I use vinegar to clean my carpets (don't use any sort of harsh chemicals in my house). Basically I use this system: http://www.dogchatforum.com/dog_urine_odor.htm it works pretty good.

  • Open your windows to air it out. I think if you've already used your steam cleaner, the smell is more in your brain that actually in the carpet.

  • I have been using Natures Miracle NO MARK spray. It gets rid of the smell and they don't mark there again. It's ten bucks a petsmart.

  • ballewal, i had my neighbor come over to smell, and it is not in m head. It might be ll the way to the pad is what i am thinking.

  • I sprinkle a liberal amount of baking soda on it and let it sit until dry and then vacuum it up. Repeat if needed.
