Do you let your kids eat the candy or do you trade it for something?

  • It depends. They're allowed a couple of pieces a day, but it doesn't stick around forever before it finds its way into the trash can.

  • I le them eat it. It usually lasts them for about a month.

  • Since our kids are 4& 2 we normaly do just one block,either one is asleep or the other is tired of walking, so we really dont get much candy so i do let them eat it since its never really much candy.

  • He is still to little yet, but I noticed in a local paper in our town the one Doctor office is doing a candy buy back for ever pound of candy you turn in the child gets a dollar. Not a bad deal.

  • I let them eat most of it in small doses for a few days. We don't go door to door trick or treating (we go to our church's trunk or treat though) so they don't get much candy to start with.

  • I let her eat the candy, but there are limits to how much she can have in a day.
