pulling up?

my dd is 10m old and just now started to crawl last month. well she has been pulling up sinde then too.

Well when she does she pulls up and gets on her knees and thats as far as she goes but she can sit on them without help of holding unto something for awhile.

she cant pull herself to her feet and when i stand her up all the way she wobbles.
is it normal or should i be worried?

  • Sounds like your daughter is progressing very well. Every child goes at their own pace, so you can't really compare one child to another. Your daughter definitely isn't "behind" in the sense to cause worry, or any other sense really =)

  • it is normal. she will gain her balance as her legs get stronger. try to let her crawl around more than being in an exersaucer or playpen. its better for her development.

  • Sounds just like my son. He's 10 months. He started pulling up on everything at about 9 months & now at 10 months he's pulling up & walking holding onto everything. She'll get more steady when she's standing, she just needs to practice. Her little legs will get stronger the more she does it. Now my son will pull himself up then let go & when he finally realizes what he's doing he'll fall down.

  • It's very normal and she seems to be doing quite well.
She needs to build muscle strength to support her weight and to balance with. It will come in time.

  • She's doing fine. She'll work it out on her own in short order, I bet you'll catch her in the next month standing up holding on and giving you the biggest grin!
