  • When you orgasm, your vaginal wall and uterus contract rythmically, so sometimes after orgasm, the muscles will cramp from those contractions...If it is really painful or you have bleeding, or if the pain persists, you should see your GYN.

  • Sex can cause your uterus to contract which can cause menstrual-like cramps. This is especially true during pregnancy.

  • I sometimes get cramps after sex too. As long as it is not too bad--more like period cramps and does not last to long you should be fine. Like the other have said it is usually caused by the contractions of your uterus during orgasms.
