How would you like to celebrate your graduation from your language course?

Dear all, I teach Spanish and my students' graduation is soon and we want to make it a cultural experience, what do you think would be nice? Please let me know ASAP THANK YOUUUU SO MUCH

  • Hmmm, could you have food and such there? Maybe you could have different kinds of small dishes from Spain and Spanish speaking countries? Posters of the different countries, music, stuff like that...

  • I live in Mexico so hopefully I can give you some idea's. =P Maybe have a little table and have different authentic flavors from spanish speaking countries available. Have them try traditional food/candies (no taco bell type stuff) but real stuff like mole, chili covered dried fruit pieces, churros, tostadas, guacamole, flan, tres leches cake (pastel),horchata, dulce de leche, etc. Decorate your classroom in bright colors. Right now it's the Dia de los Muertos celebration with sugar/chocolate skulls, chocolates, 'dead bread' (pan de muertos), altars filled with fruits and flowers, skeletons with colorful clothes/tuxedos and hats.
