  • We make homemade candy every year - peanut clusters, pecan clusters, chocolate covered potato chips, chocolate covered pretzels - we have tins of these sitting around during the holidays.

  • I have 2 'must haves' for the Christmas holiday-- fudge and Great Aunt Florine's sugar cookies-- both were things that my Grandma would make each year. She would make fudge every year and she always remembered to make a nut-free batch just for me. Now that Grandma is gone I am the one who is carrying on the tradition of making fudge and those yummy cookies. I don't have any daughters to pass the cookie recipe on to, so I hope someday my boys or maybe my future daughter-in-laws will enjoy baking and keep the cookie tradition alive.

  • Like Queenofscrap, I don't feel like Christmas without cut out iced sugar cookies. I also like to make buckeye balls.
