my baby is 3 months old and isn't eating like she usually does...

for about a week know she just isn't eating like usuall... She usually eats 4 1/2 oz and anymore she might eat 31/2 to 4 oz and she doesn't really act interested in eating half way through... I think she is teething she is drooling TONs and eating on her fingers constantly plus for the past week she has been waking up in the middle of the night to eat which she usually don't do... she is pretty happy most of the time and not sick or anything like that.. What is going on with her?

  • It's probably just the teething. You can feel around in her mouth to get an idea of how close the tooth is to coming out; once it's almost ready, it'll feel sharp. Once it breaks through, expect her to be extra hungry to make up for the last week or so.

  • I would say teething. When they are it hurts to eat and therefore they don't eat as much as they used to. Also if she is cutting back during the day then that's why she is prolly getting up to eat in the middle of the night now!

  • Sounds like teething. Babies never eat like they normally do when they are teething, it hurts them when they have to nurse or suck on a bottle. But babies always go through different eating habits as well, sometimes they will eat constantly, normal, or barely anything at all. Either way i'm sure its nothing to worry about.
