  • How old? Could it be diaper rash or maybe diaper rash and yeast infection?

  • Has she been on antibiotics?
They can cause that reaction in girls.

  • Put some oatmeal in an old stocking and throw in in the tub as you run the bathwater. Its soothing, and it gives her something neat to play with. Afterwards, let her run around in a long shirt with no undies on to reduce friction. If she is potty trained, make sure she's wiping properly, and not too hard. Review her diet to see if she has had anything new, sometimes an allergic reaction can manifest this way. Has she recently discovered her girly parts? Excessive rubbing/playing with herself with foreing objects or dirty hands can cause issues too!

  • Yes, kids can get yeast infections. DS gets them once in a while still, after he was treated for thrush as a 6mo.

  • yes girls can get yeast, uti's bacterial infections too....I would take her to the DR so they will be able to tell you the difference and give you some meds for her.

That sort of itching and burning can be agonizing...I am sure you know that though.

Sometimes I found thta after my girly was sick she would develop go find out so she can have some relief....if it is a UTI...then she needs antibiotics....

  • My daughter's doc has me use athlete's foot cream on my daughter it works wonders! Will always clear her up very quickly. Good luck Momma, I know it sucks when our little ones hurt!

  • Let her soak in a corn-starch bath...and make a doctor's appointment to have it checked out.
