How do you get the squeak out of a play pen??

My daughter's play pen is very squeaky.. what can I do to stop this? It's annoying! If it's barely touched it squeaks!!

  • Stay away from WD-40 & Baby Oil, both are toxic and can make her very sick. Try EVOO spray or Cooking lard... Hell, I use Crisco on just about anything that squeaks! It's not nearly as runny as WD40 and it doesn't stink!

  • If you dont want to use WD-40 on something your baby uses a lot, you can try a cooking spray or even baby oil.

  • Ahhh. I had one of those. I sprayed WD-40 on all the joints. Worked perfectly. wipe excess off though so baby doesn't touch it.

  • WD-40 the crap out of that sucker! ; ) You can get a small can at walmart, any hardware store, or most big, chain gas stations.

  • Use baby oil and put a few drops on all the hinges, WD 40 might cause problems if the baby gets it in it's mouth, could also be allergic to the WD 40. Baby oil also works on the plastic kind as well as the wood ones.
