kids tattoos

Do you give your kids temporary tattoos? I never thought it was a big deal until my MIL mentioned it as not being a great idea.

  • I let my daughter have them... started a few years ago... I thought it was better and easier to remove than permenent marker lol

  • I let them have temporary tattoos all the time, we have also done airbrush tattoos in the past. I don't think there is anything wrong with them, although I have a tattoo myself.

My thought is go with what you think is best you are their parent.

    Good Luck!

  • Why is it not a great idea? As long as they aren't vulgar what is the harm?

  • Of course. They are super cute, they wash off and it's just fun. Besides I have 2 tattoos myself. Why are they a bad idea?

  • My girls love temporary tattoos... my son hates anything stuck to him and never wants them. I think it's fine... they're non-toxic, and they come off. And I have no problem with tattoos generally- I have a couple myself. I always figure that my kids will NOT want tattoos because if mom has them, they can't possibly be cool! LOL!

  • I'm actually giving them out tonight along with the candy. I know some parents frown on them, but I would rather my kids have the tattoos than all that sugar.

  • Sure. At 3 & 4 I think the real deal is a bit much, but I don't see anything wrong with fake ones - I mean, they wash off, seriously, how does that hurt anyone, why would it be wrong?
