Girls! I'm having an age crisis...

The oldest was at a dance last night... and.... she said, "they played this weird song, about electric slides...

I said, "don't you know there's a dance that goes with that?

She said, "mom, nobody dances to that song." UM......

I can still do the electric slide...

  • I know, we did the electric slide at my wedding in mar. 1994. What about the macarena. that came out in 1996.

  • LOL @ older......yep!

    A generation gap for sure!!!!!!

Though my son hears songs on the radio and thinks they JUST came out with it....he said one day,"Mom.. I LOVE Billy Ray's new song, Achey Breaky Heart. Im glad he made that song. It's so cool!" I said,' honey, that song came out over 10 years ago!" He said,"NO it didn't.. it's not new or they wouldnt be playing it now! They only play NEW songs on the radio Mom. Not that OLD stuff you used to listen to!" Sheeeeeeesh! OLD?!

You can't argue with a 6 yr old!! LOL
