You need to decide on his bedtime. It may be time to drop his nap if you think it is inteferring with bedtime although most kids this age take a nap in the middle of the day. He might be napping too late. If so, make the naptime earlier. Start bedtime about 12 hours after he gets up in the morning. Have a set routine which could be a bath, reading books, cuddling. Calmly tell him he needs to stay in bed and put him back each time he gets up. You can sit on the floor of his bedroom and have your back to the bed. Do not talk during this time. Each time he gets up you gently put him back in the bed. It might take several nights. Do the same thing if you decide to sit in another room during this time. GL!!
