haloween candy for 9 month old?

Can baby have a piece of.candy at 9 month? Or could the sugar be potentially harmful for an infant?

Its his first halloween.....thought it would be nice to give hima treat...

  • just let him lick a lollipop....all of mine have done that and they are fine. just make sure its on the stick good and dont let him hold it!

  • None of my kids had candy or their first, or second, Halloween's. Fruit is a great treat, much healthier for them. They don't understand holidays and won't be upset by not getting candy.

  • Your 9 month old is not going to care if he gets candy or not. Give him some smashed bananna's Happy Halloween :)

  • Your joking right? Seriously? I hear read these can I give my baby candy post and wonder how people could possibly have no idea, that NOOOOOOOOOO candy is not good for anyone, much less a 9 month old!! he wont care!!

  • I give my daughter lollipops and smarties! Oh well shes gonna eat candy anyway & ima let her (in moderation of course)! Its the choice we make as parents!
