What are some cheap decorating ideas for a nursey?

Im not very crafty. Once we find out the sex i would like to get the letters for the babys name and paint those any other ideas?!?!

  • framing old pics of baby's (like antique pics) they are cheap and cute. second hand stores always have tons of stuff little girls and boys too. pillows, stuft animals, noah's ark would be an easy one to do on a budget.

  • well you need tons of baby blankets anyways right? so get some cheap hooks, maybe from goodwill?? and maybe mismatching..?? and hang them along a wall with the blankets hanging on will bring color, take up some bare wall space, and serve as storage for the blankets...

  • I went to Hobby Lobby and found some metal 3d wall hangings. It will give the child different textures and dimensions to look at and they are the type of things you can use in any room. I didn't like the idea of getting a nursery set, using it for two years and packing it up.
