Do you make more soup, stew and chili as the weather gets cooler?

Or do you consider these any time of the year meals?

  • I do make more stews, soups, and chili during the colder weather. It just has more of a warming effect than other food

  • Yes, I'd say we have those sorts of meals more often in cooler weather.

  • Anytime meals. But I've been trying to limit the soup during the week lately and its been hard. With cooler weather and clouds, I want soup in a bad way.

  • I don't make those foods during the summer at all, unless it's chili out of the freezer for hot dogs. You know fall is here when I break out the big soup pots again. LOL

  • I don't make soups during the warm months, but at the first hint of cool, they are back on the menu. Had home made potato soup and corn muffins for supper last night. Yummy!!

  • Where I live, weather is always HOT.... but I still make veggie soup! It is healthy!.. One detail... When I serve it has to be warm, not too hot!
