  • It really depends on a lot of things... If you're talking home business, the answer will be completely different from if you have a Pizza Parlor...

  • It is just an "in general" question.. so answer it for what ever business you know the most about..please.

  • In general:
    Negotiate rent and supplies.
    Cut salary by working more or cutting wage.
    Cut benefits
    Cut utilities, become more efficient with heat and lights

  • I don't cut costs, I'm a one person show-no employees. Anything I spend I make sure it's tax deductible before I spend it. It's either spend it now, or pay it to uncle sam.
    I get the best supplies I can, the bes displays I can, I drive anywhere within reason, and I spend money on the extras. It all comes back to me at tax time.
