Is it normal for my period to come no more than 5 times a year

I've been spotting also for the past week

  • there is a thing caled PCOS ( poly cystic ovarian syndrome ) and it can make your period go away for months.. I have it and I havent had my period for almost a year... you should look it up and head to you DR

  • What my doctor told me was that is not medically necessary to have a period once a month. Although he wanted me to. Yeah, he. He has never gone through it. I have never been regular. And since my daughter started, almost 2 years ago, she hasn't been either. Not everyone is the same. I think you are just fine.

  • Sure---I got my period every two or three months until I was about 45 years old. I had three chldren and no health problems. I wouldn't worry about it.
