What are the websites I can check to see where they live? FREE!?

  • Just search Megan's Law and your State... That should give you the link for your state.

  • You can go to and search by your zip code. Just remember that not all sex offenders do what is required by law, reporting their actual address or change of it. You can never be too careful.

  • I was just checking our area a little while ago so we know which houses to skip, especially since we're fairly new to this town. Our state (TN) has a website through the TBI where you can put in your zip code and see any in your area. You might try to google something like 'sex offenders by zip code', that's what I did and found the one for our state this morning. I think we have laws about them not being allowed to have their lights on or doors wide open during ToT time too, but I'm not sure if they check on them to enforce it though.

  • Here's the one I use, and just saved to my favorites yesterday:

    Scroll to the very bottom of the page, on the top of the 7th column, click sex offenders, the select your state. A list of cities will show up, and everyone in your town will show up.
