HOw do you make pumpkin seeds in the oven?

Please give me some basics thanks..

  • My husband baked the best seeds this year. Rinse them off, put them in salt water, bring it to a boil, then immediately bring it down to a simmer for 10 minutes. Then put 1 tbs. of olive oil in a baking pan, stir them up in that oil, then bake them for 10 minutes. He also used Lawry's seasoning salt, and toasted them a little extra. And the olive oil was garlic infused. I couldn't stop eating them, lol!

  • Rinse off the worst of the gunk, boil them in salt water for about 20 minutes, then toss them with oil or melted butter and whatever seasonings you want (salt, parmesan cheese, cayenne, or you can go sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg) roast them spread in a single layer at 325 for about 30 minutes, stir them at least once along the way.

  • Microwave foe 2 minutes on high. Toss in oil and whatever spices you like, then bake in the oven at 250 for an hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
