  • oh how i dread when they will be preteens. i have 1 year old twin boys. my little cousins are 14, 12 and 10 so I'm terrified. hahaha. i have a feeling i will hate preteen years more than teenage years.
    good luck<3

  • It goes with the age - I have 32 of them in our Girl Scout troop and 90% of them have that attitude.

  • My kids know not to talk back, one time my oldest, now 27 told me to shut-up and I told her if you ever say that again you'll get smacked. Of course she said it again, got smacked and never attempted it again. If they know you mean business and they won't get by with it they won't do it.

  • Welcome to my world and alot of other pre-teen Mom's world if you are thereyet or looking/not looking forward to it. They 'can' be smart mouths for sure. Mine is at times and then a perfect angel another time. Hormones, I think is a lot of it though.
