What's the strangest thing your kids got in their trick or treat buckets?

Our town did the trick or treat thing last night, and when we were sorting their loot one of our daughters started making a pile of pecans still in the shell. I was thinking she stopped somewhere and picked them up, but no, a lady was handing them out instead of treats.

  • I don't think mine have ever gotten anything odd...but then again we've always just been trick or treating on a military base where the norm is just candies or little toys. We went to the mall one year to trick or treat, never doing that again. It was just a bunch of dum dum pops and tootsie rolls and a LOT of people!

  • Nothing odd. Did get a package of Cracker Jacks but I'm not sure that's odd really... We gave out temporary tattoo's with the chocolate though. I guess that could be odd. lol.
