Regret? Not at all. If he hadn't won, McCain and the Shrew would be in office. I doubt we'd be any better off with them. The only good that might have come from that is that we probably wouldn't have to hear Palin speak so much. VPs tend to fade into the background although sometimes (as in the case of Cheney) do their evil work in the shadows. Of course, then we wouldn't hear her screechy voice as much, but her influence would blacken the American landscape nonetheless.
Nope. Definitely good with Obama. He's not perfect, no, but he's a far cry better than the alternative.
