is it safe to use 2 different brands of tampons ???

i boought a box of tampons PLATEX but those are just not for me i usually wear PEARL tampax love them but i have this platex box of tampons that i dont use and i dont want to throw them away or give them away i think thats a little weird -- so is it safe to use 2 different brands of tampons at same time??

  • Well, not at the *same* time, but one after the other during the same cycle.... ;-)

    Seriously though - it shouldn't be a problem at all, unless you already have problems with tampons, such as Toxic Shock Syndrome or something like that.

  • Absolutely. When I needed them (I miss those days, believe it or not.) I usually used Tampax. But, I also sent away for free samples of any brand I could. When the box ran out, I used whatever I had saved up from the samples, or when cash was short, which was frequent, I'd buy whatever was on sale. I never had a problem using two , or more, different brands.
