can you actually die from getting 3-4 hours sleep a night ???

  • I don't think you can die directly from lck of sleep, but you can do alot of damage to your body that will decrease your lifespan. Stress is the main one that comes to mind, but also when you are sick, your body needs rest in order to heal. If you are getting low levels of sleep, you can also be much more prone to sickness, and get more severe sickness. When you do things when you are groggy from low levels of sleep, that's dangerous, too - like driving!

  • LOL no, you may get quite foggy brained though. My DH's grandmother only sleeps 2-3 hours at night, she just can't seem to sleep any more than that. She is quite the firecracker too...
