~ Aristotle ~ (384 BC–322 BC) Greek philosopher, a student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great. Together with Plato and Socrates (Plato's teacher), Aristotle is one of the most important founding figures in Western philosophy.

  • Very good quote. To accept that another person has a viewpoint that is valid, to listen and learn why, to not disparage them, leads to enlightenment. We don't have to believe as they do, to accept that they have a right to their beliefs.

  • Could be. I'm personally not sure if it's the mark of an educated mind, as it is of a wise mind. But probably the modern definition of "educated" mind is different from the one in Aristotle's time.
