  • 2 adults, 5 kids and 3 dogs, and we spend about 800 dollars a month, now that is tax free at the military commissary with 200 dollars worth of coupons. In the civilain world we would spend about 1200 dollars or more a month.

  • We are a total of 6& manage to spend about $500-$600, i dont always buy name brand food. i buy walmarts generic& try to cook simple stuff, when we feel like going out to eat instead of spending like 50-100 i go out& make a good meal for under $30& we end up w/leftovers.

  • 2 adults and a toddler, and I'd say we spend at least $600/month, but we also eat a lot of organic foods and we go to the farmer's market.

  • Family of 5, and we spend about $350 per month, sometimes less. This is ALL food, including eating out (which we don't do very often) and the kids' school lunches.

  • Try sittin down a writing out a menu. Like what your gonna cook for the next 2 weeks. and only get the food you need from the menu. Cuts out of buyin extra food or junk food you dont need. It seems to be working for me now. I've been doing that for about 1-2 months now. I never leave without my menu so I dont over buy
