  • We started DD at 6 months, but she didn't really like it, so we tried again every couple of days, until she liked it around 7 months.

  • I'm not sure where in the world you are from, but I know in UK the guidelines are exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months so no baby cereal till then if possible.

  • I follow the "Baby led weaning/solids" approach. No "baby" cereal at all. I wait until baby can sit up unassisted and feed himself finger foods. Starting with avocado, banana and baked sweet potato. And nothing before at least 6 months old. And longer if baby isn't interested.

  • As your pediatrician, general recommendations are 6 month. Some may recommend 4 months, but not earlier than that.
