  • Sister --homemade body scrub --essentially sugar, coffee and cocoa, or salt --and an oil like almond, olive, or something like that. There are tutorials on bath bombs on youtube as well.

Parents --gift baskets of all types -- dvd, interest, fruit, . Make them a scrapbook. Have photos taken of the family and frame them. Make no sew blankets.

One and two year olds -- soft blocks which can be made out of foam rubber and covered with cloth or made from different sized cartons. You can add jingle bells or different things inside some of them. make a picture book. There are kits or instructions on making soft dolls and teddy bears, depending on how crafty you are.
7 year old and 3 year old --age appropriate art materials so they can create. This includes homemade paints and play dough.
A box of dress up clothes.

  • You can put together gift baskets. A basket full of towels, homemade bath salts, oils and candles is a great way for mom's to chill out. For the dads, we buy a pop at home tub of popcorn, a big chocolate bar, and a cheap $5 dvd. For people that like to cook you can put together jars of dry cookie mix with directions for mixing and baking. You could even add a couple of cute cookie cutters. Old pictures arranged nicely in a photo album is usually a winner with grandparents. If you can knit, sew, or crochet, consider making stuffed animals for the kids or even doll clothes if they are girls.
