If you were single without a child and haven't found "the one" yet ...

... would you rather have an anonymous sperm donor and have your baby now. Or freeze in a few of you eggs for later, taking the risk it might never happen?

There's a documentary in television tonight about storing eggs and it made me wonder ....

  • That's a good question.... it would depend on my age and situation. If all is well in my life then this is what I would go by:

    Age:

18-30 ~ Wait. No sperm donors and no freezing.
31-33 ~ Possibly freeze some eggs... possibly. Maybe even consider sperm donor.
34-36+ ~ Freeze or get the sperm donor. The closer I got to 35 I'd get the sperm donor.

  • I got pregnant when I was 26, I had already decided that if I wasn't married or with anyone by the time I was 30, I was gonna look into getting a sperm donor.
