  • Yes I do always have unless I know exactly who gave it to them.

  • Yep. My mom did it with me, more for scouting purposes (like what is good in there to eat.) We keep a strictly kosher home, and there are a bunch of things out there that I will not let my kids eat. Most chocolate based things are fine. So we go through and take out the non-kosher items.

This year they chose not to go, so no scouting or weeding through.

  • Yeah, I always end up carrying it all anyways, so when we get home I go through it and separate it...

  • Go thru it to take the good stuff, no he shares it. Safety reasons I do go thru it.

  • yes and all the whoppers were unwrapped ?? weird!

  • Yes I do. There were loose chocolate covered pretzels in both of my kids' bags this year so I'm VERY glad I checked. For all I know they were probably good but I didn't want to take any chances and tossed them. I don't let my kids eat anything unwrapped unless I know who gave it to them.

  • Not this year. We live in base housing this year and that is where we got the candy from. We didn't really check for anything.
