Anyone ever had a thin watery whitish discharge during pregnancy? How can u tell difference between normal discharge and amniotic fluid?

  • Thin, watery, white discharge is complete normal during pregnancy.
    Amniotic fluid will be clear, not sticky, have no smell or a very sweet smell, and you will soak through your underwear.

  • amniotic fluid will have no color and will smell sweet or similar to pickle juice.

    I went thru more pantyliners during pregnancy than any other time.

  • I would think if it was amniotic fluid you would be having cramping/contractions do to the tear. It could also be a little bit of pee. The bigger the baby the more he/she pushes the bladder out of the muscle that hold back the pee and then cause you to leak.

  • its normal to have a discharge like that. but if its contant, u may want to ask your dr about it.
