Looking at the candidates backed by the Tea Party, What does it say about the TP movement to YOU?

Please feel free to list EXAMPLES

Does it verify what you already thought good bad or indifferent?

  • Homophobic, bigoted loonies.... (let the bashing begin). And it pretty much confirmed exactly what I thought already.

  • Strong, capable, candidates of integrity, intelligence, and strong morals. Ok, sweet, time for you and your cronies to bash me.

  • Glenn Beck eloquent? LOL!! This man is calling ANYBODY who disagrees with him an idiot. Ok, I'll listen to the rantings of a grown man who picks on 11 year olds, who doesn't know that libraries are federally funded, and made fun of people who just lost their house burn down while the firemen stood and watched. He's a real role model.

  • Paladino- wants to point fingers at his opponent's philandering and immorality, why he has a sugar shack honey and love child, "on the side." O'Donnell- a 40+ year old woman who has accomplished little in her life. Finally got around to borrowing funds from her purported platonic honey  to pay off her accrued student debt, her past due home mortgage payments and secure her BS degree (Yes at 40+)- and campaigns on a fiscally conservative platform. Shall we address borrowing campaign money for questionable purposes? WTH is wrong with this picture? SA- enough said. It has NOTHING to do with movement affiliation. Some people are just homers- vote for a party/grrp/movement only- it screams uniformed, and only adds to our political problems, IMO-

  • MBGL- in my husband's family alone ( sibs) there are 4 moderate to left leaning, educated, employed (well, 1 just retired), married X1 MILLOINAIRES, including my DH-educate yourself- Your words define you as uneducated and insecure. So busy putting others down with the "welfare" reference only reflects on you. Look, listen, read, research and move away from the inaccurate and antiquated stereotypes. No one is listening-

  • TPM- A good premise, but then the $$$$ and corruption entered the picture and they reduced themselves (collectively) to the lowest common denominator. What can they actually do and positively affect without pandering like the rest? Without $$$ you can not run and compete with the big dogs-THAT'S the reality of our current political system. Without a tweeking of our system, no "movement" has a viable chance at making a dent.

Anger and disgust does no necessarily translate to an educated vote-

  • Should we feel guilty for wanting to make the slush fund more fiscally realistic?

Yet many in the group would elect the likes of the financially challenged O'Donnell who has proven to have zero money sense or personal responsibility / accountability in terms of spending or repayment.

     What an oxymoron.

  • They claim they want to "take america back" which makes me laugh, I do NOT want to go back to the way things were. We clearly need to move forward.
