Has anyone used regular strength Vick's on an infant under 2?

It says do not use on an infant under two, but my mom keeps going on about how she used it on me when I was a baby. Not sure who to listen to.

  • I used it. Just use a small amount and mix it with petroleum jelly. Baby vicks is just watered down vicks. They like to make different versions so they can sell more. I never had any issues with it. It's way safer than cold meds.

  • No, I used Baby Vicks for my kids. In fact my 12 yr old still uses Baby Vicks as he has sensory issues and regular Vicks is too strong for him.

  • The vapors tend to be too strong. I wouldn't do it

  • I always got the baby vicks. The vapors are really strong in the regular one and can really irritate a baby.
