How to raise funding without owing favors to special interest groups?

Where will this clean money, free and clear; no strings attached come from, especially the amounts needed to mount a favorable bid for a MAJOR seat?

  • This is an excellent question sisteract! IMO, we really need to set term limits and we should limit how much is spent on elections and where the cash comes from. It is tricky though, kwim.

  • You only elect people with integrety and then keep intouch with them. You demand they continue to do the job you sent them to either the state or DC to do. You, as a citizen, police your party, your movement, and your government.

  • Term Limits would help. Starting smaller scale with local elections and working their way into the political arena to gain exposure and build a resume of credibility that doesn't include special interest groups would be another.jmo

  • Term limits and campaign finance reform would be a good start.
