  • Other than something happening to my kids, I fear being a working, fully fuctioning, aware mind, trapped in a completely non-functional body. To not be able to see, hear, move, communicate, etc. terrifies me!

  • Spiders, now.

When my kids were little and dh was at sea, it was that something would happen to me and my kids would be alone until someone figured it out. It was hard not to dwell on it...

  • i have recently discovered that i not only have a terrible sense of direction, but i am utterly petrified of getting lost. i also have a very unpleasant fear of wasps. and, just to be completely bonkers, i have a fear of milk.... i can't drink milk once it reaches 1/4 of the gallon or within 2 days of it's expiration date without my husband first testing to confirm it is fine.

  • I have several:
Something tragic happening to myself (I can't imagine DH having to explain it to DD)
Flying (I've taken 2 trips via airplane, and I swear I'll never fly again)
Prescription pain meds (I fear that I'll form an addiction or they'll somehow end up in the hands of someone who will abuse them. I've never had any issues with addiction, but I've witnessed someone similar to myself fall into addiction of pain meds)
