what cooking method uses the least amount of electricty?

curious if anyone knows what method of cooking uses the least amount of electricity - oven, slow cooker, stove top? im not counting the microwave since i dont really cook with it, mainly heat things up.

  • indoors, slow-cooker. it does not effect the temperature of the environment; therefore, the ac/heat does not have to react to it, like it would an oven or stove.

  • A campfire!! lol. We have a gas oven and use the grill a lot. But I would say a crock-pot as far as electrical appliances go.
