  • Have you ever heard of the B.R.A.T. diet? It stands for: bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. In small quantities of course, but they are all very soothing, and most little ones can keep them down. Ginger Ale is also good for upset little tummies. Hope they feel better soon.

  • BRAT, LOTS of rest, stories read by mama, quiet house, lots of fluids.

  • Give them tylenol for fever and comfort. If they have a transition object (a blankie, pacifier, or stuffed animal), let them use it as comfort, give them lots of hugs and cuddles, keep them hydrated (pedialyte is good if they start to vomit or have diarea a lot), and offer comfort food such as crackers, oatmeal, chicken noodle soup(homemade is the best this young bc you control how much salt and seasonings go into it.) Good luck, I hope they feel better soon.

  • Keep them as comfortable as possible, and encourage them to continue drinking fluids to keep them hydrated.. Soft, bland foods if they can handle it. Cornstarch will ease any chafing. Hope they feel better soon.

  • No peanut butter, milk . When my oldest son had it I used the BRAT diet. But for his milk I would give him rice milk unless of course you are BF then thats ok. Lots of fluids even popsicles if nothing else, it will make them feel like they're really getting the special treatment:) I hope they're feeling better soon! It's no fun for anybody.
